Barbara McQuade is a professor at the University of Michigan Law School, her alma mater, where she teaches courses in criminal law, criminal procedure, national security, and data privacy. She is also a legal analyst for NBC News and MSNBC, and a co-host of the podcast #SistersInLaw. From 2010 to 2017, McQuade served as U.S Attorney for the Eastern District of Michigan. Ms. McQuade was appointed by President Barack Obama, and was the first woman to serve in her position.
Henry Weinstein is an Emeritus Professor of Law at the University of California Irvine School of Law, where he became one of the founding faculty members in 2008. Before coming to U.C. Irvine, Henry worked as a journalist for 40 years, including stints with the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, and San Franciso, followed by 30 years at the Los Angeles Times, where he was a local investigative reporter, labor writer, and legal affairs writer
